aMTP32M FAQ
AThe “aSPI28W_V100”accept 8BIT , MONO , WAV format is for the ones who are familiar voice editing. The imEdit_Vxxx accept 16Bit , stereo , wav format is for the ones who are not familiar voice editing. If you any problems, pls contact our editing engineer [email protected]
AThere are three steps : Editing, Compiling and Programming.
AWe accept mp3、wav、aif、wma、avi、mpeg.
ABecause you didn’t use our suggest editing software.Usually we suggest use SOUND FORGE、GOLD WAVE、COOL EDIT and so on.
AThere will be a little distorted when the voices transfer to our acceptable format. So, we need some editing software to modify the voices to improve the quality. Raising sample rate or using PCM compression will be helpful. If you any further voice quality the request, pls contact our editing engineer [email protected]
AYes ! You can mix different sample rate.
ANo ! Because their RAMP UP & RAMP DOWN are different, if you do not use your compiling output in your application , it may produce “ Po “ noise before or after you play the voices.

ABecause 8050 transistor belongs to A type amplifier, its high temperature is normal. To avoid this situation happened, we suggest you use APLUS “ AP4890B “ audio power amplifier to improve it.
AThe operating current of the IC itself is about 15mA, if you use” PWM “ to drive speaker directly, the total current will be about 30mA. If you use “ COUT “ add transistor to drive speaker, the total current will be from 220mA to 300mA depends on what speakers & transistors you use.
AIC will automatically enter sleep mode after finish playing. So its operating current will be less than 15uA.
AAll are based on 8bit 6KHz sample rate. It means if you run out all the length, the best sample rate is 8bit 6KHz.
AIt depends on your original voices . General speaking, high sample rate has better effect. But, some special voices they need low sample rate instead.
AWe suggest 20KHz sample rate is the highest one in every project. If over 22KHz, the IC frequency will be easily unstable.
AAccording to our experience, 8KHz sample rate will be accepted by 70% of customers.
ANo. But, we can utilize software to transfer MIDI or MELODY to WAV format then we can program them into our MTP IC.
AWe use 8Ohm, 0.25W speaker generally.
